KAI'S HEALING

A month ago, we contacted Craig from Mary Jane Inc for their CBD range for our fur babies, at the time our 4-year-old Kai was still struggling with an ongoing constant nasal drip, causing low energy levels and rings under his eyes! He has been home for the better part of June with high fevers and a constant sinus infection. He had a poor appetite and was an incredibly fussy eater. This started during lock down 2020 and has been an ongoing issue for us. Although he has always had a decent appetite and was partial to certain foods, it became so bad where he would outright refuse to even eat regulars that he’s always enjoyed. Kai has always had an aversion to trying new things. To this day he only drinks water and his milk, he has never tasted juice, tea or any other drinks including milkshakes as he COMPLETELY refuses. This is not a big issue for us as it’s healthy but when the same aversion is applied to his food, it becomes a
very big problem as they need balanced meals to get all the nutrition a body needs to grow and stay healthy.

Besides the dietary and health concerns Kai was also prone to extremely violent tantrums! On more than one occasion he has drawn blood from both Greg and I in one of his fits. The only way to deal with it was to PLACE him Safely in his room and wait for the rage to subside then go in and console him. It has been a very difficult journey with many helpless tears cried wondering how to help our little boy balance his emotional spectrum. Craig prepared a broad-spectrum CBD oil for him with a range of terpenes. At this stage I must mention that prior to giving it to him we did run it through the HPLC in our testing lab Ecogreen Analytics to ensure we were getting the best, and the results did not disappoint! Mary Jane Inc’s CBD oil is of AN exceptional quality, and it allowed us to work out the dose for Kai.

 

The first very surprising thing was that Kai wanted to take the oil directly! This both surprised and delighted us as he never tries new things. It also made it easier as I did not have to try and hide it in his food. We started on 7mg dose (5 drops a day). Within a week his nasal infection cleared up and the rings under his eyes started CLEARING. His appetite increased and he was eating slightly more balanced.

After 7 days he wanted 10 drops (14mg) instead of the 5 drops. Trusting our intuition and that of his own body we increased the dosage. A few days later he was eating all his food and would eat from my plate as well including the veg that he refuses to touch. His pallet at school has expanded where he eats the fruit and veg served. Although he’s still reluctant to eat these at home, I have no doubt he will soon be voluntary eating these at home too!

It has now been a month and in the last 3 weeks we have not had a single tantrum. A niggle here and there as a normal 4-year-old would have, but they are very brief, nonviolent and he snaps out of it within a few seconds. It is the most amazing thing any parent can watch and wish for to go from feeling helpless and desperate, having tried numerous avenues to help Kai, including Homeopathy and other remedies (WHICH WORKED TO A POINT AND THEREAFTER DILUTED) to seeing our little boy blossom. His appetite normalizes, his energy levels balanced and healthy. His mood constant and normal for his age, his social interaction with his peers improves and his sleeping patterns improve. With this incredible cold we’ve had, before the CBD oil Kai would’ve been home every second week with fever and severe nasal congestion. In the last month he’s not even had a sniffle. Words cannot truly express the depth of gratitude we feel for this transformation. There is nothing that a parent wants more than knowing their children are happy, healthy, balanced and growing in all areas of their life.
